At Kids Care Dental and Orthodontics, we are honored to have the opportunity to make a difference in the community. We believe that there is nothing more influential in the healthy development of a child than a thriving community, and that’s why we give back. We value the close ties that are evident in the neighborhoods around us, and we work hard to strengthen and support our community as a whole. One program we are proud to participate in annually is Operation Gratitude’s Halloween Candy BuyBack, in which we collect Halloween candy from family’s at our offices for troops overseas. In this program, we are able to feed our noble troops and keep sugar bugs out of our kid’s mouths.
Another event we participate in is Star 106.5’s Valentine’s Day Cards for Kids, in which we collect Valentine’s Day cards that are delivered to sick kids in local hospitals. Through this effort, we have the ability to share the love on Valentine’s Day to children who may not quite feel it otherwise.
Additionally, our Healthy Smiles Tour, an outreach program which we visit kids and perform dental presentations in schools, has allowed us to spread knowledge of oral hygiene to kids who may not have access to the resources otherwise. We know the service we do is great responsibility, yet we are readily enthusiastic about assuming endeavors that will benefit our neighborhoods. We cherish our community, and through community involvement, we can spread healthy, happy smiles to kids everywhere.
