A native resident of California, Dr. Samer Albadawi is elated to have the privilege of practicing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in his home state. After completing his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at UCLA, Dr. Albadawi attended the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Master’s in Public Health (MPH).

Once he discovered his passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Albadawi completed a one-year surgical internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Anesthesia training at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and its affiliated hospital, University Hospital, in Newark, New Jersey, where he served as chief resident in his last year.

Board-certified and trained in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Albadawi has extensive experience in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implant placement, bone grafting, sinus lifts, biopsies, and management of orofacial trauma. He believes in basing each treatment plan on your individual needs
and providing care comfortably to create a pleasant experience and the outstanding smile you deserve.

When Dr. Albadawi isn’t treating patients, he loves spending time with his family. As a father of three young boys, he spends most of his free time chasing them around and discovering new parks. He also enjoys swimming, playing pickleball, and mountain biking. Dr. Albadawi has spent numerous years volunteering for Smile Bangladesh, an organization dedicated to treating young children with cleft lip and palate. Participating in volunteer events and serving his local community are also important parts of his life. Dr. Albadawi has been practicing in the greater Sacramento area for 10 years and is excited to meet you and help with all your surgical needs!
