Recently, our Kids Care Dental & Orthodontics – Stockton at Stone Creek team had the privilege of welcoming 20 high school students for a hands-on career exploration visit through San Joaquin A+, a program designed to connect students with real-world career experiences.

The group spent the morning learning what it is like to work in a dental practice by observing real workflows, exploring different roles on our team, and gaining insight into the many ways dental professionals support patients and families each day.

Students rotated through stations led by our team, where they were introduced to essential skills and behind-the-scenes processes that keep a practice running smoothly. From understanding the flow of patient care to seeing how clinical and administrative teams collaborate, the visit offered a meaningful look at the wide range of career paths within dentistry and healthcare.

At Kids Care Dental & Orthodontics, we believe investing in education and mentorship is an important way to support the communities we serve. By opening our doors to students, we can share not only what we do but also why we do it, helping spark interest in healthcare careers.

Whether these students pursue dentistry, healthcare, or another path, we’re proud to play a small role in shaping their understanding of teamwork, patient care, and community service. Experiences like this help inspire the next generation of dental professionals who will one day care for smiles of their own.

A huge thank you to San Joaquin A+ for partnering with us and allowing students to learn beyond the classroom!
