So here’s the scoop:
Dr. Margaret Delmore grew up in a small town in Wisconsin, on the shores of Lake Michigan. Coming from a medically oriented family, she first went to pharmacy school at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and then went on to work as a pharmacist while going to school at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis. After becoming a dentist and believing you can never get too much education, she went on to get her medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. It was also at UNMC that she completed her oral & maxillofacial residency training. After completing her training, it was the climate and people who drew her to Sacramento where she has been in private practice as an oral & maxillofacial surgeon for twenty (plus) years.
I chose to work with children because:
Children are one of our most valuable future resources and we can’t let them suffer from dental neglect. According to Nelson Mandela, “There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children.”
My hobbies include:
The three R’s: running, reading and (w)riting!
Organizations I belong to:
SDDS, CDA, ADA, SSVMS, CMA and AMA
