Dr. Morgan Nelson

Oral Surgeon

Dr. Morgan Nelson is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who combines advanced training with a gentle, reassuring approach to patient care. Originally from California’s Central Coast, Dr. Nelson began her first career as a classically trained pianist before following her love of science and healing to the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF)—one of the nation’s top medical and dental schools.

During her six-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery, she received comprehensive training in anesthesia, facial trauma, ICU-level care, general surgery and plastic surgery. This depth of experience allows her to provide safe, compassionate care for patients of all ages, including children and teens undergoing wisdom tooth removal under sedation and other oral surgery procedures.

Dr. Nelson chose to work with young patients because she loves helping them feel calm, comfortable, and confident through every step of their surgical experience. As both a surgeon and a mom, she understands how important it is for parents to know their child is in caring and capable hands.

Outside of the operating room, Dr. Nelson is the proud mother of an energetic three-year-old. She enjoys lifting weights, hiking, and the occasional In-N-Out cheeseburger. Her favorite movie is Inside Out, and her favorite music is whatever her patients want to hear that day.
