So here’s the inside scoop:
Originally from the Bay Area and a college graduate of Santa Clara University, Dr. Sarah Esmaili (pronounced Es-smiley) headed out to Philadelphia for dental school, where she earned her DMD from Temple University Maurice Kornberg School of Dentistry and received the Edward B. and Arnold R. Cook Award in Pediatric Dentistry. There she discovered her passion of working with children, and followed after graduation to pursue pediatric dental residency at Geisinger Hospital in Danville, PA.
Dr. Esmaili loves to help kids discover and build their self-confidence during their dental visits. She is excited to be back home and create positive experiences for the kiddos. In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer, swimming, reading, and drinking hot chocolate at every opportunity.

I love my community because: We have a culture that accepts and embraces such an impressive diversity here in the Bay Area. You naturally feel more connected to people and to yourself because of the openness our community fosters.
I became a dentist because: Dentistry provides a unique opportunity to be directly involved in positively impacting a person’s oral health while building and creating a continuous patient-provider relationship. Oral health is often overlooked, yet we are more recently learning how interrelated it is to one’s overall health; it’s incredibly fulfilling to contribute to improving a person’s quality of life and their progress.
