How Curodont Works

Think of Curodont as a helper for your child’s teeth. When applied, the solution soaks into weak spots in the enamel and builds a foundation for new minerals to form. Over time, these minerals rebuild and strengthen the enamel, stopping early decay before it becomes a cavity. The result is stronger enamel, fewer cavities, and a completely pain-free experience for your child.

Why Parents Love Curodont

Whether you’re looking to avoid traditional fillings or stay proactive with your child’s preventive dental care, Curodont provides a pain-free path to stronger, healthier teeth:

  • Non-invasive & pain-free: Applied directly to the tooth with no drilling, numbing, or sedation needed
  • Quick & easy appointments: Treatment is quick and comfortable, making it perfect for busy families
  • Strengthens & protects enamel: Encourages natural enamel regrowth and helps teeth stay strong
  • Reverses early decay: Targets white spots and early signs of mineral loss before they turn into cavities
  • Prevents future problems: Stops small issues early to reduce the need for fillings later

Is Curodont right for your family?

Curodont is a great option for:

  • Children with small white spots or weak areas on their teeth
  • Parents looking for a non-invasive, preventive approach to cavity care
  • Families who want to avoid staining from Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) but still want protection

Curodont works best on early decay before a full cavity has formed. Once there’s a visible hole or damage to the tooths surface, a traditional filling is typically needed. Our team will check your child’s teeth for decay during their exam and let you know if Curodont is the right choice or if another treatment would work better.

Yes, Curodont is completely safe for kids. It’s a gentle, non-invasive treatment that has been tested in children and adults around the world. Because it works with your child’s natural tooth minerals, it helps repair enamel without harsh treatment, drilling, or discomfort.

The cost for Curodont is $115 for a one-time application. If you’d like, our team can review flexible payment and financing options to find what works best for your family.

No! One of the biggest advantages of Curodont is that it stays completely clear. Unlike silver-based treatments that can darken or stain teeth, Curodont leaves the enamel looking natural and healthy.

Curodont and Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) are both used to stop early tooth decay, but they work in different ways.

Curodont is meant for very early decay, before a cavity has fully formed. It helps the tooth rebuild itself by encouraging new enamel to grow, keeping the tooth healthy and strong. The treatment is clear, gentle, and completely pain-free.

SDF is typically used when decay has already progressed further. It stops bacteria, hardens the tooth surface, and prevents the cavity from getting worse. However, it leaves a permanent black stain on the treated area.

Both options are safe and effective, and your dentist will recommend the best choice based on the stage of decay and your child’s needs.

You may notice some changes within a few weeks, but full results usually appear over the next few months as the enamel rebuilds naturally. We’ll check your child’s progress at their regular visits to make sure the treated areas are continuing to strengthen and heal.
