So here’s the inside scoop:
Dr. Amy has never been a stranger to dentistry because she follows in the footsteps of her father, uncle, and grandfather in providing dentistry to the Sacramento community. She spent a great deal of time as a patient in the dental chair growing up. Despite being a very fearful child, she can still reflect on these times very positively, which has since been her ultimate goal for every child.
She attended University of the Pacific School of dentistry where she found her greatest strength was working in the pediatric clinic. She graduated with high honors and has been involved in several opportunities, which have further fueled her passion for working with youngsters, including a dental mission trip to Jamaica and Smiles For Kids.
I love my community because:
My community loves and cares for one another. I enjoy having opportunities to give back all that my community has given to me.
I chose to work with children because:
I enjoy seeing the world through the eyes of a child. I find that often they have more to teach me than I do them.
For fun, I like to:
Explore new places and cultures, and always take time to appreciate the beauty of the great outdoors.
