So here’s the inside scoop:
Dr. Valley grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She completed her undergraduate studies at UC Santa Barbara with high honors. She then graduated from Harvard University with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (cum laude) and a Masters of Public Health. She received additional post-graduate education from Northwestern University where she earned a Masters of Science degree and Certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Valley is passionate about community service on a local and international level. Dr. Valley has been an active member of Rotaplast International, a non-profit humanitarian organization providing free reconstructive surgery and treatment to those with cleft lip and palate and related anomalies in developing countries. Most recently, Dr. Valley founded 1World1Tribe, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing and creating opportunities for better oral health, education, economic empowerment and youth enrichment in critically underserved areas around the world.
I chose to work with children because:
Working with children and young adults is the most rewarding job in the world! I get to see so many smiles every day! I feel privileged to play a role in their lives and to be a part of their most important developmental years.
My hobbies include:
Raising two teenage daughters; 1World1Tirbe nonprofit organization; bicycling; patent law expert witness work.
