So here’s the inside scoop:

Dr. Valley grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  She completed her undergraduate studies at UC Santa Barbara with high honors.  She then graduated from Harvard University  with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (cum laude) and a Masters of Public Health.  She received additional post-graduate education from Northwestern University where she earned a Masters of Science degree and Certificate in Orthodontics.

Dr. Valley is passionate about community service on a local and international level.  Dr. Valley has been an active member of Rotaplast International, a non-profit humanitarian organization providing free reconstructive surgery and treatment to those with cleft lip and palate and related anomalies in developing countries. Most recently, Dr. Valley founded 1World1Tribe, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing and creating opportunities for better oral health, education, economic empowerment and youth enrichment in critically underserved areas around the world. She also volunteers on behalf of Kids Care, teaching pickleball classes to children with special needs!

I chose to work with children because:

Working with children and young adults is the most rewarding job in the world!  I get to see so many smiles every day!  I feel privileged to play a role in their lives and to be a part of their most important developmental years.

My hobbies include:

Raising two teenage daughters; 1World1Tirbe nonprofit organization; bicycling; patent law expert witness work.

If I wasn’t a dentist, I’d probably be:

Working with USAID.
