We realize that the cost of dentistry can be a substantial investment for many families and we are pleased to offer a variety of payment options for our patients. When extensive dental care is necessary, payment arrangements can be made with our financial coordinator. We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, and Care Credit.
We make every effort to keep dental care affordable while maintaining a high level of quality. Dental insurance is designed to defray some of the costs of dental care by paying only a portion or percentage of the bill. We coordinate traditional insurance with treatment, when possible, and help our patients maximize any insurance benefits they have, but we cannot make any guarantees . We will never compromise your child's care based on what an insurance company says. Our commitment is to serve you rather than insurance companies. Ultimately, your insurance company is responsible to you. We cannot make any guarantees or promises on behalf of your insurance company.
Our philosophy of treating your child using only our professional judgment and experience is not compatible with the restrictive nature of many managed care plans (HMOs). Accordingly, our office is not a contracted provider with any HMO, DHMO, Medi-Cal or Denti-Cal plans.
Traditional benefit ("indemnity") plans do not stipulate where you can go. You can see any dentist and receive the full benefits of the policy.
If your benefit plan is a PPO, you are allowed to select any provider you see fit. Kids Care Dental and Orthodontics is a "preferred provider" for most PPO insurance plans (including Aetna, Ameritas, Assurant, Blue Cross, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, Delta, DBP, GEHA, Guardian, Health Net, Humana, Lincoln, Metlife, Premier Access, Principal, United Concordia and many more). For a complete list of the types of insurance we accept, please contact us or give us a call at 844.616.5437.
