What Is A Regular Dental Visit?

A regular dental visit is a recommended set of appointments throughout the year to ensure healthy-looking gums and teeth.  Your pediatric dentist will usually look at your gums, mouth, tongue, and throat. If any problems arise, they will make recommendations during this visit.  You will also often get a standard cleaning of your teeth and other goodies during your stay!

Why Regular Dental Visits Are Important

Regular dental visits are essential for the maintenance of healthy teeth and gums in children.

Your pediatric dentist will check your children’s teeth for plaque build-up, tooth decay, gums health, oral cancer, and so much more.

Plaque and tartar build-up can cause issues in a short period, especially if proper oral hygiene is not followed between dentist visits.  Your teeth may also become stained due to food, beverages, and candy with artificial colors.
