So here’s the inside scoop:
Dr. Janet was born in Puerto Rico and obtained her DDS from the University of Puerto Rico. She worked at the Florida Department of Health providing dental services to underserved children and became their “Tooth Fairy” for many years. Her passion for pediatric dentistry moved her to continue her education with a fellowship in Special Care Dentistry and a mini residency in Pediatric Dentistry. I chose to work with children because:
I enjoy their presence — their innocence and pure hearts keep me grounded and young at heart. I believe that if we want to change the perception of dentistry it has to be done at a young age by providing adequate prevention and education, and a positive experience from the beginning.
My hobbies include:
Drawing, painting, sewing, gardening.
If I wasn’t a dentist, I’d probably be:
A veterinarian. I love animals!
